Accredited lifting beam design

We’re proud to hold ISO 9001:2008 accreditation, giving assurance of consistent product quality to the very highest standards. Where appropriate, CE marking is also provided in accordance with the current Machinery Directive (2006-42-EC).

All lifting beams are designed in accordance with current LOLER:1998 regulations, as well as both national and international third party standards. Where required, independent third party design verification can also be provided.

Following manufacture, each lifting beam is proof load tested in accordance with BSEN standards. A certificate of conformity is then issued and provided with each beam, ensuring the beam is cleared for service upon reaching you. 

Bespoke spreader beam design

Spreader beams are used to hold two lifting slings apart, evenly distributing the weight of a load to place compressive stress on the beam. 

Spreader beams are highly efficient in their use of material, serving as a more cost-effective alternative to traditional lifting beams. They’re also designed to stabilise loads during the lift, reducing the chance of tipping. 

Our in-house design engineer will work closely with key members of your team to design and manufacture a spreader beam that perfectly suits your requirements. Our spreader beams can be designed to allow for incremental sling angle adjustment, which is particularly useful for lifting awkward or bulky loads. 

As holders of ISO 9001:2008 accreditation, we pride ourselves on consistently designing and manufacturing spreader beams to the very highest standards. Following successful design and manufacture, each spreader beam is proof load tested to current BSEN standards. 

Following a successful proof load test, a certificate of conformity is issued and the beam cleared for service.
