Description

How are lifting strops used?

Lifting strops, also known as lifting straps or belt slings, are primarily used in construction industries where heavy materials are moved or lifted. With a strength limit of 10 tonnes, the lifting strop can assist in moving heavy items such as steel bars, power poles and heavy metal rods. Manufactured out of a polyester fibre, the lifting strop is unaffected by oils or grease and poses no damage to the item it is lifting. Even delicate or painted surfaces will remain intact.

All lifting strops have their own personal colour that matches their lifting capacities so that you can easily identify which sling you need. With strops ranging from 1 metre to 10, we’re sure you’ll find the perfect one for the job.

We sell a large range of Flat Duplex Webbing Slings with most sizes and capacities with next day delivery. For more information please get in touch today.

  • All slings are colour coded, identifying the relevant working load limit
  • Individually labelled stating sling number, material, length, date of manufacture and any relevant safety information.
  • All load bearing seams are sewn with a contrasting colour of thread to the sling, to facilitate inspection procedures.
